These four 3-hour sessions are designed to give participants the opportunity to enhance and invigorate their creativity through the study of the nude human figure. Sessions will allow practice in observing, interpreting, and accurately representing the male and female form. Emphasis will be on using clay to create sculptures that capture the essence of a figurative torso (no head, arms, or legs) pose. Individualized instruction will enable each participant, beginners and advanced artists, to work at their own pace. Figurative artists interested in the Realist Art Movement and who work in 2-D and 3-D art forms can benefit from these sessions.
Sessions are 6:30 – 9:30 pm on Monday and Wednesday nights.
